Zagat Wine
Zagat is known most for their restaurant ratings. But they actually started out as a wine tasting group. Initially this group of friends got together weekly to rate wines, and then later decided to branch out to restaurant ratings. They’ve now returned to their wine roots with the Zagat Wine Club. I’m a long time user of Zagat’s ratings for restaurants. When I saw this club I thought they must have great wine also! So far my shipments have been great. I think the tasting notes are some of the best I’ve seen around.
I ordered this wine club because of the free wine glasses. Mine were chipped and I really needed some new ones. They’re shaped great for wine tasting. They also had an option for all red, all white, or mixed. Since I’m a big red wine fan I went for the all red. So far I’m 100% satisfied.
