Cellars Platinum
Membership in the Platinum club is ideal for those with knowledge and experience of world wines. It provides access to smaller, “boutique” vineyards that are not easily available elsewhere. The club delivers new discoveries selected by CellarsWineClub.com experts. Most are in limited quantities and include both perennial favorite varietals as well as those just making their way into common knowledge. Each month a member is able to opt for either two different reds or a red and a white.

I’ve been a wine drinker all my life and I’ve been around a while. I consider myself a reasonably informed wine aficionado. My son gave me a platinum wine club membership for my birthday last year. I was excited when I got the gift announcement in the mail, but even happier with the wine itself. Each month, I get a new red and white delivered to me. I’m surprised at how many vintners I’ve never heard of before that produce outstanding wines!
I already knew a lot about wine, and this club has taught me even more. I’ve become intrigued with South American wines. Before, I was always more of an Old World wine drinker, but I’m beginning to discover that South America’s wine producing regions make some wonderful vintages. Overall, I’m very pleased with the club.
I’m getting the wines that no one else can find delivered to my door. The cellars platinum club has made it easy for me to start collecting desirable wines. I live in a rural area, so these wines can’t be found in stores around here. The information that comes with the wine is nice too. I would encourage wine drinkers to join.
This club is a good way to get your hands on hard-to-find labels. I can honestly say that I liked every bottle that’s been sent to me thus far. However, I’m a bit disappointed in some of the wineries’ offerings. I was expecting the cult wineries that everyone loves to produce the best wine I’ve ever tasted. Maybe I’m not enough of a connoisseur, but these wines don’t taste much better to me than other $30-plus bottles I’ve had. So, I’m pleased with what the wine club has given me—access to the wines that are hard to find—but I wish the wines were as good as I’d hoped.
